This project for a pizzeria in Beckenham was designed to create a more open and engaging atmosphere between the kitchen and customer area. The client wanted a large glazed screen that allowed customers to see directly into the kitchen, adding to the overall experience and giving the space a modern, premium feel.
To achieve a sleek and seamless finish, we carefully routered the tabletop so the bottom frame could sit flush within the surface, creating a much cleaner and more integrated appearance.
We also used a specialist easy-clean glass coating, helping to reduce the build-up of oils, sauces, water marks, and food residue on the glazing. This makes the glass far easier to maintain and keeps the screen looking clean and clear in a busy kitchen environment.
The finished installation not only enhanced the aesthetic of the restaurant, but also helped maintain separation between the kitchen and dining area without losing visibility, light, or the open feel of the space.
